Best Kayak tour ever!
The management was pretty good. The view we got from the Trout River Small Pond was breathtaking. It was safe and well equipped.

We had booked our kayak rental 3 months in advance and called closer to the time of our trip to confirm the booking and were told we could show up any time that day to pick up our kayaks. We had a trout river camping trip planned with our two local friends down the river and had been looking forward to it for weeks. We showed up that day and the owner was apparently away in a business meeting in Gander and did not leave any information with his staff about our booking nor a key to unlock the kayaks so we were told we were out of luck and they could not offer any alternative for us. His staff was texting the owner but he would not speak to us directly. As a result we were unable to do our camping trip down river and had to settle for paying for a campsite in town. We had been really looking forward to doing a camp down river where we would be in actual wildlife so this was incredibly disappointing. 2 of our group had their own kayaks so took them down river leaving myself and my friend on main land as we figured someone should at least get to kayak and they saw a herd of caribou…. I am very sour that I had to miss out on this due to the incompetence of this business. How disappointing.
