Absolutely amazing experience at the Wantasa Resort. They were ever accommodating and all the more kind. The boats available for rentals are great, at wonderful prices. They have kayaks, canoes, standing boards, and paddle boards free for use with your cottage rental. The waterfront is absolutely beautiful, and very well kept. We met the owner and many of the other workers and each and everyone of them greeted us with exuberance and made sure we all felt completely comfortable and happy with our stay. Cottages are very peaceful and have just what you need when you are on the lake; gorgeous deck with a gorgeous view. I cannot say enough nice things about this place! Recommend to anyone interested in renting a cottage:-)!!!!

Was looking for a place to take all 3 of our kids and grandkids for a week at a cottage in July. We needed 4 separate cottages as there is a total of 18! There was 8 adults and 10 grandkids ranging from 8-3.5 years old.
Linda and the whole staff were nothing short of AMAZING! Those 10 little ones had so much fun they are still talking about it 2 months later. We are going back! Already booked in!!

We arrived and weren't asked any questions about what cottage we were supposed to be at, very hospitable owners. Beautiful view of stoney lake. We were able to pick up any small supplies we needed from the small shopping center lighthouse, including fantastic ice cream and great service. They have paddle boards, kayaks, and paddle boats available for customers use. No air conditioning in the cottages, so if that is an issue bring a window unit or a fan. 15 minute drive to the nearest town to get anything else you may have forgotten as well.

Unfussy cottages, caring owners, and plenty of lake-life amenities. The real draw (and it doesn't need anything more) is front-door access to a huge world-class lake covered with islands of stone and pine. It's a fresh water paradise! True story, a part of my family has been here every summer for over 100 years.

Managment changed hands.
We have been going here for 30+ years and last year it changed hands. Things have definitely changed we may not come back nearly as often. We used to come up 3 different trips a year and now just to maintain tradition we will likely only be back for one a year.
