No doubt it is expensive! $170/hour before tax for 3 of us family one boat. However the once in life time experience we were willing to do it. It was breathtaking paddling in middle of the lake.

On my little one’s insistence we decided to Canoe on Lake Louise. What a fan experience it was. The wind was mild so great conditions to canoe. The wait was about 45 min and it’s about $165 per hr. But totally worth the wait and the money. Where else would you get to canoe in amazing turquoise blue waters surrounded by mountains and greenery. It was just a very blissful experience. We took two canoes, if you have little kids you could go 4 in one canoe and save $$, but with our kids we could only do a 3 or a 2 person canoe. So we did two 2 person canoes. Definitely recommend it. We went mid day but I would strongly recommend being first on the waters. It opens around 8.

Canoeing in lake Luise was just an amazing experience. They offer 1/2 and 1 hr ride but anything less than 1 hr doesn’t justify beauty of the lake ride - Turquoise blue water surrounded by Canadian Rockies and glacier. The only negative point was the rental price of about $140 USD for 1 hr is very steep for Canoe rental.

One of the most amazing boating experiences you can have in the whole world is at this incredible lake. It looks like something from a magical movie with its beautiful blue color and peaceful atmosphere. Boating there is so much fun, and I highly recommend it to everyone. It can be a bit tiring, but it's definitely worth it. I would recommend this boating experience to anyone who visits this lake or this part of Alberta, again and again.
If you have the time, it's the best way to get closer to the lake. It's absolutely breathtaking being right in the middle of the water. The cost for hotel guests is $95 per hour or $85 for a shorter time, and for the general public, it's $160 per hour. The price of boating might seem a bit expensive, but once you're out on the water, you'll see the lake from a completely different and amazing perspective!

hello! just wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to your boathouse team, especially megan! we had just come down from a hike and were renting a canoe. we chatted with megan and told her that we had JUST gotten engaged on the sunrise hike. she was so nice! after we came back from our canoe session, she had made a BEAUTIFUL card with the sweetest message and offered us 2 hats to remember the experience.
we were not expecting this! we could not believe how amazing your staff was to us and that they took the time to do all of this. it may sound like a small gesture, but we are framing the card she gave us. more importantly, it will give us a memory we’ll never forget! please tell megan thank you so much!!

Absolutely stunning views, highly recommended again and again regardless of the price tag.
Be mindful of the time as it would take longer to get back in windy conditions even if you’ve been kayaking/canoeing regularly.
Another important factor to remember is the lineup, hotel guests would get priority. We waited an hour before our turn but it was worth it and I’d definitely do it again!

Went 15 minutes before opening (we went in early Oct 2024). There wasn't much of a line yet! Had a fun time canoeing. The morning was a bit windy but the staff gave us a warning and advice to keep the canoe steady, which we appreciated. We paid for an hour but the weather was quite chilly and we would have been fine doing the half hour! Anyway overall it was a fun experience!
