My family and I really enjoyed our noontime kayak adventure with Joel! He's a great guide who taught us a lot of cool facts about the beautiful sea life around Pender Island and it's history. He has a fun and positive personality and made sure that everyone was safe on our trip. I appreciate how he really took his time to answer our questions and engage us with stories.
The staff we met at the kayak station were all really fun and passionate about their jobs. I love how we were able to see a pod of seals, among so many other critters. I highly recommend this one!

We had a fantastic tour with Joel, who was so friendly and knowledgeable. We were met at our paddling level and never felt uneasy or uncomfortable. We saw seals, river otters, herons, sea cucumbers, star fish, geoducks, feather dusters, and limpets and even got to try sea snacks! We absolutely loved our time on the water and would encourage others to book.

My mum and I greatly enjoyed the sunset tour, May 14, 2023. Our brief interaction with the young woman at the office made us feel very welcome through her friendliness towards us and the other two members of our tour group. Our guide, Jaxon, was incredibly knowledgeable about the immediate area, the island and the marine life. He was able to make us first-time kayakers feel comfortable and safe with the equipment, which we appreciated greatly. He was also able to advise us on the best times to return, as well as potential points of interest on our travels around the island. We will hope to be back in the future for another tour!

We booked the Sunset Bliss and the Full Day private tour. Our group of three had a fantastic time. Joel, our guide, was the best. Calm, patient, very knowledgeable, entertaining, and totally open to meeting our needs and level of experience. We were extremely pleased with the quality of our adventure. The equipment is modern and comfortable too.

Jay and Emily from Pender Island Kayak Adventures have taken our whole family out several times, including on an exciting channel crossing to Saturna Island. Their care and expertise put me at ease, even though I am a beginner. Our kids love them!

Jackson toured us about on a two hour easy harbor paddle. Great equipment, good quick reminder session on paddling tips and pointers. Very good conversation and pointing out highlights of flora and fauna in the area.
