UPDATE: Although I still have issues with the "National Park" branding I have to change my review from earlier...

Recently the owner has changed their stance on access and will now offer free access to the take-out for paddlers starting in 2022. This is good gesture in light of the ongoing access issues and conflicts it was creating. Hopefully they stay true to their word and keep their long term commitment to grow paddling and keep it accessible for everyone.
Perhaps I will now buy beer at their riverside facility next season after paddling as a way to support this initiative. Thanks for changing your mind.

Update: Visiting the area this weekend and heard the great news about the park being open free of charge to the public. What an amazing gesture of community spirit and sharing by the Kowalski family of what is truly an amazing place.

Visiting Inspiration Point is a must do. Worth the price of admission a real wilderness experience!!!

Just a greedy guy charging money for the work of volunteers from the local mountain bike and whitewater community while performing no maintenance.

For $99 you can buy yourself a Ontario Parks seasons pass which entails unlimited day use access to any park in Ontario. This highlights the predatory pricing of this establishment.

The new owner took a disheveled, unkempt old rafting company with frail infrastructure, and has made it into something beautiful that enhances the incredible natural landscape of the Rocher Fendu section of the Ottawa River. Thank you for keeping the river in its pristine and natural state all of these years. One can only imagine what it would look like now if you didn

Barely a 2…

-Just so you know, this is NOT a National Park, this is NOT a Provincial Park. This “park” seems to be a thinly veiled “not-for-profit” to write off taxes and funnel customers into various for-profit rafting and kayaking business operating out of the same location.

Played obnoxiously loud music late into the night and couldn't sleep. They also try to pass themselves off as a national park which is a lie.
