Absolutely wonderful experience. My friends and I were doing a trip from Deep Cove to Twin Islands and Deep Cove Rentals was all sold out. I got in touch with Dave and I'm so glad I did. Not only were the rates cheaper, but Dave helped me put the kayak on my roof rack, demonstrated how to use the safety equipment, taught me some knots, and gave me loads of other practical information. The rental came with everything I needed, I just brought the dry bags.

Dave is such a knowledgeable and helpful person. He helped us pick the right canoe for the water we were going to be paddling in and helped us out a lot with mounting the two canoes on top of our SUV. Make sure you have a car / SUV with rails going front to back! Dave provides us with the horizontal supports to mount the canoes. 10/10 would rent canoes from Dave again.

I'm a couple months late on this review but we had such a wonderful experience renting from Dave! He was able to find us a canoe for our extremely last minute Canada Day outing, and took the time to chat with us and offer all the tips we could need. David has fantastic boats and is clearly very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us with tips for our overnight camping/kayaking trip and made it possible for us to bring his double kayak over our small hatchback car! Would definitely recommend him.
