Great week @ Loon & Eagle! Chris & Viv were wonderful hosts at main lodge cabins. Docking, launch, bush road, & parking made it great destination to bring a few of our own boats. Cabins were adequate with limited electricity and a tiny bit of cell service and wifi. Fryers, cutlery, dishes, pots/pans, storage all there in cabins. Our garbage was looked after by the outfitter which was an unexpected perk. Bringing a generator was definitely a good idea. Rental boats were great. Fishing was good. Hard to say how a week or two would have changed this as we had a very cold spring.Walleye were not plentiful but size were incredible and we found it tough to catch small enough fish to be in the slot size. Pike were caught but tough to locate or pattern. Lakers were there and catchable but mostly below slot size. Small mouth bass were everywhere, big and easy to catch. Lake Kipawa is beautiful, deep and safe. Bugs were bad at shore but fine on the water. Hope to return in 2026!

My husband and I were guests here for 4 days. Chris and Vivian were nothing but the best. They went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience and the best fishing trip. Thanks to Chris, we found all the hot spots for Walleye and were able to bring them in the boat. It was such a fun weekend we can't wait to go again.

We had a great week at Loon and Eagle. The beds were comfortable and when we needed it the wood stove kept the cabin very warm. The docks and waterfront deck are new and a great place to get ready and finish off a day of fishing.
Well equipped and clean cabin with our own deep fryer. Our hosts were very nice and attentive. Looking forward to next year

2024: Another great trip to the Loon and Eagle. The fishing was excellent and we really enjoyed getting away, immersed in nature. We regularly crossed paths with 3 resident beaver on the way to our favorite fishing area. There were plenty of loons, a couple of ermine and a moose! The Loon and Eagle is one of our favorite places to visit. As always, Chris and Vivian were fantastic hosts and helped make our stay very comfortable.
2023: Chris and Vivian are terrific hosts that enjoy sharing their wilderness paradise. The cabin was clean and comfortable with new fridge and stove. All equipment (fishing boats, kayaks, canoe ) are fully equipped and in great condition. Fish were biting all weekend that we were there. All in all a great family experience. We all wished we could stay longer. Highly recommended. We're already planning to visit again.

My family and i spent 4 days at Loon and Eagle and we had the best of times and my wife said it best, her only regret is not booking for longer as we were sad to leave . First you feel at peace with no hustle and bustle of the city and everything is calm . Second Chris and Vivian are the perfect host , Chris took us for a boat ride and Vivian taught our girls the ropes of fishing (even though we just caught a few little ones off the dock lol). It’s the experience that’s just right. And third, Cabin is lovely and has everything you need , the property is clean and well kept and we had all amenities to use around the property. Getting there was easy with timely signs guiding you to find the place if it’s your first time . The lake is gorgeous , we had breakfast everyday by the dock and that view is amazing . Its our first time vacationing in a cabin by the lake, and Chris and Vivian checked in with us to make sure we had all we need and that we were doing well regularly.This is the perfect place to get away and spend time with family and unwind and create memories. Now we are planning for next year and hopefully catch more fishes!!!

Just spent an amazing weekend at Loon and Eagle. Its a perfect place to get away from the city and soak up nature in a beautiful setting. The hosts are fantastic. They took the time to point us in the direction of good fishing spots, and really went the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience. Nature even provided us with a display of the northern lights, topping off a beautiful day. Will definitely go back!

The most private, quiet, and natural retreat my family has ever had. Spend the morning with more fish than you can catch in beautiful lake Kipawa, swim in the sandy shallow dock area in the afternoon, then enjoy dinner and s’mores over the fire under the light of the Milky Way. Hosts Chris and Vivian are knowledgeable, attentive, and super friendly. If you’re a novice angler this is the place to come as Chris can teach you all about the basics, teach you how to handle the fish, and even clean it for you or teach you how to DIY. We’ve had the most wonderful relaxing week and it was a great way to stretch our wings after a long lockdown at home. Loon and Eagle is going to be a yearly tradition for us from now on.
