I won't have space (or time) to adequately define the great points of this resort. Our group has neither the patience or cash to stay at even a marginally 2nd rate fishing experience.
These folks hit the mark or exceed it in categories 'the old dogs' and 3rd generation camps just blink at you if you ask about being available (much less INCLUDED) in their base price.
Visiting Golden Eagle resort for the past 3 years with our request in for our return next year before we left should tell you all you really need to know.
It seems like most of their guests are repeat customers from our conversations; I call the place "Our Jewel on Lac Seul".

Our first time at Gold Pines and couldn’t be happier. My son-in- law recommended it, since he’s been coming for 15+ years. As soon as we arrived, we were treated like a king and queen. Pete helped us bring our stuff into the cabin. It was spotlessly clean and perfect for the 2 of us! We got to know Bill and Helen too while our stay! They are just like family, so friendly!
