This venue is highly recommended for weddings from a wedding photographer's perspective. The ambience is warm, modern and romantic. All the staff are friendly, very approachable and are always willing to help. The function room was spacious with tons of natural lights. I can't emphasize enough how beautiful The Glenmore Sailing Club is as a wedding venue! I got to photograph a wedding here back in 2019 and can't wait for an opportunity to go back - their outdoor patio is one of the most beautiful (and unique) spaces I've seen in Calgary. It's surrounded by large trees (making it feel private despite being beside a public park) and you get a beautiful view of the reservoir. There's plenty of green space surrounding the venue for the kids to run around or for playing lawn games. I highly recommend taking some time as the sun is setting to duck down to the reservoir for some additional portraits. This is the perfect setting for those looking for a gorgeous outdoor space for their intimate wedding!

Just fantastic, as a Scouter I brought my Cubs here (OAS Sailing 1 & 2 available) and it was fantastic. Went back with friends for Women Wind and Wine and I can't say enough good things. Learning and laughs, it was just amazing!! Thanks to Sarah, our awesome Skipper

My boys had a really good experience taking their first sailing lessons here. The instructors were laid back and fun. The morning class time was perfect for avoiding rush hour traffic.
Pro tip: pull all the way around the loop to drop your kids off in the loading zone directly in front of the building instead of parking in the boat spaces.
