One of the most emotional and energizing experiences of my life — and my very first rafting trip! We went down the Jacques-Cartier River, tackling class 3–4 rapids. We were lucky to have two amazing instructors: Romain, our lead guide, and Benjamin, who followed us closely in a kayak, capturing photos and making sure we were always safe. He took so many great shots — real action moments we’ll definitely keep forever.
Romain was the ideal guide: calm, confident, and totally in control. Before we even touched the water, he trained us in all the commands. That preparation made all the difference — we felt safe, focused, and never unsure, even in the middle of roaring rapids. Before each rapid, Romain would explain exactly how we were going to approach it, what commands he’d use, and what to do in case anyone ended up in the water. His instructions always changed depending on the section of the river — he adapted everything to the current and conditions.
At one point, we even had the chance to jump off a cliff into the water — which was just wild and so much fun! We also got to jump directly into the current and float downstream, riding the river like in a “lazy boy” position — an unexpected and thrilling experience.
I especially loved the feeling of just switching off my brain and following commands. In my day-to-day life, I’m the one making decisions — but here, I got to surrender to the moment. After a quick snack stop, we drifted into a wide, peaceful section of the river — total bliss. But soon enough, we were back in motion, slicing through waves in sync, moving like a real team.
If you’re looking for something unforgettable, full of adrenaline but well-guided and safe — I highly recommend this experience.

Amazing experience, some of the best rapids we have done. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Felix and Luigi were the guides for our raft and they were great fun and great at translating everything to English for us. Good safety information before each rapid section.

We had the best of time rafting with this company. Our guide Roman was excellent, as was the whole team. Great communication, beautiful river and it was a real adventure on the rapids. Loved every minute. I can highly recommend this experience .

We did the family rafting experience with our 3 and 5 year old yesterday. This was their first time rafting. Our guide Eliot did a great job with the kids and kept them entertained. I did not realize we were going to be stopping to do side activities like jumping in the river and having the kids go on a float and it was so nice to break it up and keep them engaged. This was a highlight of our vacation!

There are multiple opportunities to go swimming. You should only go if you are a very very good swimmer and have swam in running water already.
There's also a cliff jumping opportunity.
The place is set up for beginners, if you're adventurous. They do make you practice going overboard and getting back on the raft which can be surprising. No one on our adventure went overboard but it's not too uncommon. Just follow all safety measures and you should be fine. It is set up for English and French clients.
There is also an opportunity to tip your instructor at the end so bring cash.

The experience itself was decent but I left my wallet on the tables as instructed and all the money was taken out, there should be better oversight. If I had known there would be none I would have left my wallet in the car or somewhere else
