We stayed at this amazing cottage for 1 week in September and has a wonderful time. We were 10 adults, 4 parents 6 adult kids/partners. The location was so convenient and the roads are easy to navigate - better than most cottages. The wifi was perfect - some of us still had some work and school to do while there. Each room was well setup, great bedding, pillows, duvets, and large comfortable beds!!! Everyone was in a King!!!! The kitchen was perfect - well services with pots, pans, dishes, and there is an extra full fridge downstairs. The game selection there was great (ask for a pic so you know whats available). We rented seadoos from a local company (Peel Marine - Lakefield) and boated through the locks. Lots of privacy. Lots of room for all. Fantastic views. Great showers. I could go on! We will be back! Thanks Marilyn for being the best hostess!

When you find a place that offers you extraordinary views, space for everyone with the possibility to experience family time while enjoying all the luxuries of modern life, then you know you have found ‘the place’ to make memories that will last a lifetime. Eaglewings is that and much more. The sunsets are epic. Kayaking either early in the morning or in the evening is a must. We spent a fabulous week. And you know you have a winner when the youngest in the family, at the last dinner at EW, asked everyone who wanted to return next year to put their hands up, and everyone did! For sure, we will be back. Thank you Marilyn and Brian for making us feel so welcome.

Beautiful property, gorgeous cottage, serene and tranquil location. The was everything we hoped for in a cottage vacation for our multigenerational family. We had visits from a heron and an osprey, and enjoyed many meals together at the huge dining table.

Had the pleasure of staying at this gem of a cottage this summer (Aug 2021). Booking was very smooth and communication was always easy and quick. This is a great cottage for a group / multiple families as there are lots of large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. We had 11 in our group in total and never felt like we were in each others way. The cottage is very new and very well appointed with all the amenities you could possibly need. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans...a nice large dining table meant that our whole group could eat together. The windows throughout the cottage make for a gorgeous view no matter which direction you look! Towels and bedding were provided and while I would typically use my own, everything was so fresh and clean that I was comfortable using their stuff. The owners clearly take great pride in their property. Gardens are beautiful and the grounds are kept clean and neat. The beds are super comfy, and most rooms have King sized beds which was a nice bonus. Buckhorn Lake is known to be weedy, but the owners have an aerating system and keep the swimming area around the dock clean and free of weeds. We spent every day in the water with no complaints of weeds. The kids enjoyed the hot tub as well. Fishing off the dock is great for kids as you are guaranteed to catch a plethora of sunfish, perch and bass. From the dock, you will also see some gorgeous sunsets. All in all, a fantastic stay at a very beautiful getaway. Thanks for sharing this with the rest of us!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this cottage. Our family of six adults and five grandchildren slept comfortably in their own bedrooms and had their own bathrooms. The king size beds were much appreciated. The cottage has beautiful views of Buckhorn Lake, and Marilyn and Brian have thought of everything one could possibly want in a cottage. The kitchen was a chef’s delight and it was equipped with every possible utensil and accessory you could desire. The cottage itself is a stunning work of art, obviously a labour of love. The views of the lake from the cottage are amazing. The lake is quiet and the grandkids caught small fish off of the dock. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. It was really relaxing. Thanks for a truly enjoyable and memorable vacation.
