Icebergs, puffins and humpback whales…what more could you ask for!? Bob made our trip an unforgettable one! He was personable, knowledgeable and outgoing. He scooped up a bergy bit for us to hold, answered all of our questions and didn’t give up until he found the humpback whales! He followed them for a bit giving us all a great opportunity to see them…even if it meant running us way past our allotted time. We would definitely recommend Bob and Discovery Sea Adventures for your adventure when in Bonavista! Thanks for the memories!!

Bob was everything you want in a tour guide for anything: seasoned, knowledgeable, and with genuine enthusiasm greater than your own. Our tour exceeded expectations, and though we were too early for whales, the iceberg and sea caves were breathtaking! Bob’s love for all of the natural beauty shines through. No better tour guide out there!

We had a fun boat road with Bob. Beautiful icebergs. Bob took us to show some sea stacks and rock formations. Lots of birds puffins, murrs, gulls etc. We had a fantastic time

I chose this tour because of Bob’s great reviews and boy he did not disappoint! His joy and enthusiasm for finding whales and watching them play just made it so much more fun. We got so lucky to watch a mum and calf, the calf ended up breaching many times and gave us a spectacular show! We heard this is rare mid August so we feel so thankful for Bob’s experience. We also saw a sunfish, explored the coastal caves filled with starfish, spotted a bald eagle and got up close with the puffin cliffs.
Book this tour - it was the best! We couldn’t wipe the smiles from our faces for a long time afterward 🙂

Amazing experience! Worth every penny. We were lucky enough to see whales breaching (mom + baby) and waving at us with their fins & tails. We were also taken to see the puffins and go through the caves. The price alone is worth the boat ride!

This tour was absolutely amazing and worth every penny!! This was my first time being out in a zodiac boat and it did not disappoint. Our captain really got us up close and personal with so many beautiful things that this province has to offer. We lucked out with a massive ice berg sitting in a nearby cove and even got to see a bit of an elusive whale. Going through the sea stacks covered in puffins and other sea birds was such a treat and getting so close to the rugged cliffs and caves was breathtaking. This is an experience I will never forget and I would definitely do it again and again.
