We rented two portaging canoes for the weekend, and although they were a bit heavy, they were perfect for the tough terrain. Corina and Julie were fantastic, answering all our questions beforehand and providing great help on the day of the trip. We brought along some friends who were new to portaging, and Corina went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt prepared and had a great time, even with the rainy weather. I also really appreciated the shuttle service, which allowed us to smoothly complete the trip in a horseshoe route. Thanks so much for everything, including the freezes!

Friendly people who attended with us. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Their canoes are beautiful and very sturdy. Their paddles are very nice. For anyone who is a seasoned canoer they sell beautifully crafted paddles at their store front.

Corina is amazing! We've rented boards from Deep Roots Adventure for several years and they make our cottage trips so much fun. Corina is easy to reach and talk to, flexible and friendly. The boats are picked up and dropped off on time and in perfect condition. I hope you have as much fun as we always do!

Had an amazing experience kayaking with the family at Deep Roots Adventure.
The prices were reasonable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
We had 2 kids in the family and the staff were able to help us choose bigger kayaks to accommodate 1 kid with 1 adult.
They helped us get our life jackets on, get into the kayaks and get off the kayaks after we were done as some members of our group had never kayaked before.
Will definitely recommend to anyone who’s in the area and looking for a fun family activity.

We had an incredible day out with Deep Root Adventures. We enjoyed a wonderful kayak on the York River into Algonquin National Park along with a short hike and lovely picnic. Aaron, our guide, was really personable and full of local facts - can’t recommend enough!
