After years of sea kayaking and starting to experience upper extremity joint discomfort, I decided to switch from europaddle to greenland a few months ago. Very quickly noticed an improvement. Realizing some of the significant handling differences between the two types of paddles, some quite subtle, I started watching Paulo's videos. They were very helpful, more so than other online videos.
Having the opportunity to take some private lessons with Paulo to refine the paddle strokes, I signed up for a few lessons. Really glad I did. He's an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable, patient, and fun to paddle with.

As a new comer to paddling, I must share a very special and rewarding kayaking day of guided learning and exploring with Paulo. A circumnavigation and meandering between and around Chatham and Discovery Is. was piqued by so much to see and be awestruck by. The ocean, the birds, the sea life - incredible. Paddling under Paulo's relaxed supportive and encouraging tutoring style made the experience that much more rewarding. This one outing truly felt like going on a vacation for two weeks!
