Our time kayaking with Jme was so fun! She is personable and outgoing and happy to share her knowledge of the wildlife and plants. She took great care to ensure we were safe and comfortable before we set out and checked in with us periodically through the trip. The pace was relaxed and easy and there was never any pressure to paddle faster than we were comfortable with. She provided everything we needed for the trip making this an excellent option for people new to the sport!

Had an Amazing time with County Waters Kayaking this past weekend. Fantastic trip down the Red Deer River. Jme is an excellent guide and fabulous host!!!! Very organized operation. They have everything you need all ready for you. Great for beginners as well. Highly recommend. So much to see. The river is so beautiful something different to view every 5 minutes. Had a fabulous time. Thanks for the awesome experience. I will do again for sure. Sooooooo on Sept 28/24 I just went on my second all day kayak with County Waters Kayaking. If you want to begin to experience kayaking for the first time, I totally recommend Jme!! She is very knowledgeable, safety oriented & organized!!! No detail is left out!! Even a dry bag & camera case are supplied. The lakes she has chosen are absolutely beautiful!! It great to meet new, like minded people. I would totally recommend County Waters Kayaking!!

Kayaking the Red Deer River with County Waters and Jme was a wonderful experience and a great day on the water! Jme and her assistant John were well prepared for our trip and provided a good safety orientation before we launched. The kayaks are fully equipped and Jme also carries additional essentials. The river itself offers glimpses of varied wildlife including deer, baby bald eagles, and pelicans. The landscape is mesmerizing and changes with each turn of the river. I highly recommend Jme and County Waters Kayaking for your paddling experience.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
The process of arranging the expedition was simple and all instructions and directions to the launch area, prior to the date were on point!
Jaime (possibly spelled the name wrong) was honestly just the best! She strikes me as a straight to the point and no messing around kind of gal, she provided plenty of conversation and humour throughout the lake tour and made sure to include the quieter paddlers in conversation so they wouldn't feel left out!
Safety is the number one priority, as it should be!
All equipment was provided (except for water shoes) and at a reasonable enough rate that my hubby and I can budget to do it every now and then, even when adding the cost of childcare to the evening!
I am excited to check out another one of the lakes!
Highly recommend!
*editing to add that my husband and I have never been kayaking before this and he's not overly comfortable with water, so we were true beginners prior to going and Jaime made it a breeze!
