This is a very peaceful place to relax and enjoy a view of Burnaby Lake with lots of birds flying around. There is a large wooden deck beside the rowing pavilion to view the lake. At this time, June 2025, there are no benches on the deck, we had to bring our own chairs. The parking lot has a big sloped ramp that is wheelchair-friendly to get to the deck. There is a good parking lot that has room on weekdays.

Affordable and great venue for small events. The rental includes set-up (and removal) of tables and chairs. Kitchen is on a smaller side and can’t be used for cooking, mainly just to heat up food. Lake view is awesome especially during summer. Lots of free parking available. Highly recommended!

Amazing view, we did quite a lot of events there. A small kitchen with one fridge, the hall can accommodate 100-120 people easy. Plenty of parking.

Great place to rent for an event. Road is under construction right now, but our guests made it there and enjoyed the space and large windows onto the lake. Big screen tv for PowerPoints etc.

It's a nice venue for a party but is better suited for the summer. I attended a party here recently and the view of the lake was beautiful up until about 5pm. The sun went down at 4:30pm and after 5pm you couldn't tell if it was a view of a lake or a dark field. Some lighting to accent the lake would go a long way. If hosting a party here I would also suggest scheduling atleast a couple hours for cleanup afterwards.
