Our family of 4 had a wonderful experience with Alex on our sunset kayaking during the evening. He gave clear instructions on how to kayak and was reliable when we started to feel tired or drift off. Chatting with him was great as he was friendly and kind. The view was also great.

I arbitrarily arrived in the shop during a trip with a friend and our daughters. From the moment we walked in to 10 minutes after we left we were treated like absolute gold. Jennifer and Ezra went truly above and beyond any staff I've met anywhere to assist us. Not only did they help us find a solution for our future trip where we will be booking equipment through you guys, but they helped us get to our destination. When the shop had just closed we ran into Ezra again and he generously offered to ferry to adults and two kids 10 minutes away on his own time just to be a phenomenal human being. That wasn't the only highlight! When we walked into the store we had no idea what we were looking for but he was there being super attentive, great at providing options, and even entertained the little kids. If he's ever let go from this business I'm going to hire him to do anything and everything because he's amazing! I look forward to supporting this business. Alex was our private guide for the day and we had a great time! We are a young family of four and our kids are 5 and 8. We paddled a tandem kayak with one parent to one child. Alex took us to Keats island where we stopped to explore a bit and enjoyed some home baking. Next, we paddled by a little island full of seals and that was fun to see. Overall, a great experience for non-adventurous newbies. Oh- and Alex also made sure to take a bunch of photos and sent them to us!

Had a great experience with Alpha Adventures! Jamie easily accommodated our party of 14 of all different ages and abilities and made everyone feel safe and comfortable before hitting the water. Highly recommend Alpha if you’re looking to get out and do some exploring on the Sunshine Coast!

Sarah and Jamie were so accommodating with our needs. They were so helpful in dropping the kayak down to porpoise bay, and picking it up when we were done! Even at an earlier notice than we planned. They were a wealth of knowledge and made the trip awesome! Couldn't recommend enough!

I had a wonderful experience with Alpha Adventures a week ago! I took their shuttle up to Dakota Ridge for a half day of cross-country skiing. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Alex drove the shuttle to/from Dakota Ridge. He is a competent driver and I felt very safe as a passenger in the shuttle. Alex gave clear, concise information for the shuttle ride and where and when to meet after our day of skiing/snowshoeing. He also ensured everyone who rode in the shuttle knew how to use their equipment and had a sense where they might ski/snowshoe, making suggestions where needed. Alex's amicable demeanor (the shuttle ride is about 40 minutes each way so myself and the other passengers had a chance to chat) was a bonus to a fabulous day on the trails. Thanks, Alex! Kudos to the management at Alpha Adventures for hiring friendly, enthusiastic staff. I look forward to getting a ride with Alpha Adventures to the Ridge again. And, perhaps a paddle in Sechelt Inlet is in store for the summer! Highly recommend.
