I have an 18.5 ft Kevlar canoe, over 30 years old, and a tree fell down on it while it was on its rack outside. The hull had buckled and torn a few large rips into the hull, some over a foot long. Cameron did a phenomenal job repairing my canoe, using kevlar patches and fiberglass to stiffen each patch. Also replaced the old yolk, renewed the old seats, and replaced the kevlar felt at the front and back, among some other cosmetic fixes. All of this was for a very fair price and came with personable service. Thanks, Cam!

Im taking a moment to write to you about Affloat Canoe. This little shop set in Manotick delivers on all aspects of craftsmanship, quality and finishing. Cameron, is an exceptional canoeist that surpassed all my expectations I had with my first canoe. His work is fantastic. You can tell by the final product, that love, dedication and patience was used during every step of the process. If your looking to have your canoe restored he’s your guy and worth every penny. Thank you , once again to Cameron on delivering a beautiful canoe that me and my kids will enjoy for years to come.

Cameron did a stunning job on my father’s 1970s ‘early Kevlar’ canoe. He replaced four wooden ribs, outer gunnels, and keel; patched cracks, and painted and varnished it. Literally, it was ‘good as new.’
